Welcome to the Vista Del Norte of Camino Real Barracudas website.  Though relatively new, the website has become a valuable tool for our Barracuda families.  Please check the site often for updates, notices, calendars, events, and other useful information.  The site will continue to grow in importance for communication with our swimmers and their parents.

The Barracuda Swim Team was formed in 1983, and continues through parent oversight and participation to give our children a wonderful swimming experience.  We participate with other teams in the Lone Star Summer Swim League (www.lsssl.org), and our mission is to teach our swimmers sportsmanship, team camaraderie, and proper technique while also instilling a love of swimming that will last a lifetime.  Many of our swimmers join a year round swim club or go on to join a high school swim team. Most swimmers come back year after year and some also take on coaching responsibilities.

Throughout the season there are various activities to have fun, in or out of the pool. The team has a popcorn and poster party, an ice cream social, as well as fun games during the season.  It is a great way to make friends, have fun and develop team spirit.
The Barracuda Swim Team has a place for all skill levels. It is a great place to meet your neighbors, make friends and learn to swim in a positive, enthusiastic way!
