Volunteers are the life-blood of the Vista Del Norte Swim Team.  We do this for love of our kids, for pride in our neighborhood and community, and for the satisfaction we receive from being part of a successful team.

Did you know that running a home meet takes between 50 and 60 people to meet all of the league requirements, to run our concessions, and to ensure the meet actually runs smoothly?  Away meets typically require approximately 40 people.  So, 4 dual meets (2 home, and 2 away) requires approximately 200 volunteers.  That is the reason we require each parent to volunteer their time and effort for two meet halves each season.

Please make sure you have your commitments on your calendar.  If you are unable to make a scheduled commitment, please contact Ray(ray@vdnbarracudas.com).

Please attempt to be at swim meets early for instruction, especially if you are scheduled in the first half.  2nd half volunteers should remember to relieve the 1st half volunteers when called at half-time.
